Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,

And sorry I could not travel both

And be one traveler, long I stood

And looked down one as far as I could

To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,

And having perhaps the better claim,

Because it was grassy and wanted wear

Though as for that the passing there

Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay

In leaves no step had trodden black.

oh, I kept the first for another day!

Yet knowing how way lead onto way,

I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh

Somewhere ages and ages hence;

Two road diverged in a wood, and I-

I took the one less traveled by,

And that has made all the difference.

갑자기 영문 필사를 보고 당황했지만, 이렇게 가지 않은 길을 가본다는 것은 언제나 새로운 일이다.

스몰 스텝을 처음 만났을 때도 그러했다.

남들이 가는 길을 가는게 어떤 의미가 있을까?

그리고 나는 나의 길을 가기 위해 어떻게 해야할까?

해보지 않은 것을 해보는 것, 그것이 나만의 길을 찾기 위한 방법일 것이다.

 

뭔가를 겪어보면 어느 정도 답이 보이는 것 같지만, 사실 답은 가까운 듯 멀리 있기도 하다.

다만 길을 걸어야 끝을 알 수 있을 뿐.

끝이 있는지도 모르겠는 길을 걷다보면, 다른 길에 대한 미련도 들겠지만,

그래도 언제가 다다를 새로운 곳이 있음을 믿는다.

그 믿음으로 묵묵히 걸어간다.
